Person of Interest (2011–2016)
Person of Interest (2011–2016) is an American action, thriller, and sci-fi television series created by Jonathan Nolan and produced by J.J. Abrams. The show ran for five seasons with a total of 103 episodes.
Main Plot
The series revolves around an artificial intelligence surveillance system called The Machine, created by a genius programmer, Harold Finch (Michael Emerson). The Machine has the ability to analyze and predict criminal activities by collecting data from surveillance cameras, phones, and the internet. The U.S. government uses it to prevent terrorist attacks, but Finch discovers that the system also predicts "ordinary" crimes involving individuals—cases that the government ignores.
To stop these crimes, Finch recruits John Reese (Jim Caviezel), a former CIA operative with exceptional combat skills. Together, they secretly investigate and intervene to save individuals who are at risk of becoming either victims or perpetrators of crimes.
