Plot Summary:
Ghost Wife is a Thai horror film inspired by folklore tales about love transcending the boundary between life and death.
Nard is a beautiful high school girl living with her mother in an ordinary neighborhood. She is secretly in a relationship with Mac, a wealthy young man from an upper-class family. When Nard discovers that she is pregnant, she wants to tell Mac, but his family strongly opposes their relationship and forces him to stay away from her.
Isolated and suffering both physically and emotionally, Nard falls into deep despair. Tragedy strikes, and she dies under mysterious and unjust circumstances along with her unborn child. However, even death cannot separate her from Mac. Her spirit lingers, filled with sorrow and resentment, refusing to leave the man she loves.
When Mac returns, he begins to experience strange and terrifying occurrences around him. Soon, he realizes that Nard is still with himβbut not in the way he remembers. Her presence is both affectionate and terrifying, blurring the line between love and horror.
As time passes, those around them begin to fall victim to Nardβs wrathful spirit. Can Mac break free from this haunting cycle of love and vengeance? Or will he be forever bound by the promise he made to his lost love?
Ghost Wife is more than just a horror filmβit is a tragic love story filled with sorrow, longing, and spine-chilling terror. Is Nardβs love for Mac truly love, or has it become a never-ending curse?
